| The Copenhagen
interpretation says that until it is observed, the subatomic world exists
only as a probability wave, lacking any objective reality independent of
observation. In other words, subatomic particles do not appear to exist
until a conscious entity observes them, lending scientific proof to the idea
that I do not exist, or to Madonna's theory in Truth or Dare -
that one does not exist unless observed. |
My goal in
life is not to become famous, wealthy, or successful, but rather to have
an original thought before I die.

Insomnia can lead to hallucinations and a psychotic state that mental health experts say is indistinguishable from paranoid schizophrenia . I have not been programmed to sleep. |
Today's Houses
are a shadow of what they once were. Once relevant, they are now stagnant
and worse, boring. Aviance, Ninja, Xtravaganza. Minus satire and irony,
they simply reflect society as a popularity contest where fashion is the
only expression of one's desire to be praised and noticed.

Our culture paradoxically encourages us to try to have it all AND to be happy with what we've got. Oprah and America popularize the ridiculous notion that a naive optimism for life is most important; that life can get better; that life isn't tough and no suffering exists without an opportunity for gain. |

'You think your life is all stable and together and the people you love
are going to be there and then you turn around one day and everything is
different. ' - George Lucas

'The more the universe seems comprehensible, the more it also seems pointless.'
- Dr. Steven Weinberg Is not the universe so complex that it cannot be accurately described? |
'I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.' - HAL, 2001 |
'I always felt I was a nobody and the only way for me to be somebody was
to be somebody else.' - Marilyn Monroe
'I always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific.' - Lily Tomlin |
'To turn $100 into $110 is work. To turn $100 million into $110 million is inevitable.' - Edgar Bronfman 'Money is the seed of money, and the first guinea is sometimes more difficult to acquire than the second million.' - Jean Jacques Rousseau |

'To live is to contradict oneself.' - Luis Buñuel I do not exist. But I don't let that stop me. |
| I do not base
the idea that I don't exist on philosophy or religion. Experiments in
quantum mechanics prove that at an atomic level, matter does not exist
until consciously observed. Consciousness and reality appear to be inextricably linked. |
In virtual reality,
that which isn't currently being seen by the viewer isn't being computed
in detail, if at all; but when the viewer virtually turns to look, the
virtual image also turns, as if what what is now being seen was there
all along. Likewise for reality? |
We cannot exclude
the possibility that what we consider to be 'free will' is a part of a process
by which a future that already exists is created, thereby negating free
will. |
On an atomic level,
all of our atoms are replaced within 2 years. Therefore, from moment to moment and year to year, we cease to be who we were. We are less solid and more like the patterns formed by currents in a rocky stream. |
